Do you use organic ingredients?

Yes! Many of our ingredients, including our shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil and sweet orange essential oil are organic, and we are working to add more organic ingredients to our products. Learn more about our ingredients here.

Are your products really handmade?

Yes! All of our products are handmade.

Do you use synthetic dyes or synthetic fragrances?

NO! That’s the whole point, really. We wanted effective, affordable products that didn’t have all the weird and potentially toxic stuff, so we made our own. The colour of the finished products comes from the natural ingredients. The delicious fragrances you smell come from premium essential oils. Learn more about our ingredients here.

Do you use parabens?

NO! If you take a look at our ingredient list, you won’t see AQUA or water. When you introduce water, you need to add preservatives (like parabens) to keep bacteria, mold and fungi at bay. To keep products fresh, we use vitamin E and rosemary leaf extract that naturally inhibit the growth of any bad stuff.

Do you use petrolatum?


Have your products been approved by Health Canada?

Yes! Look for the Natural Product Number (NPN) on each product.

What is the shelf life for your products?

Our products should last 12 months, but it depends on how you use them. Using clean hands to apply products to clean skin reduces the amount of bacteria that is introduced. Keeping products (except for bath salts and bath bombs, obviously) away from water also helps them stay fresh.

Do you, or your suppliers, test on animals?

NO! We have a strict ‘test on friends and family’ policy and are in the process of getting the Leaping Bunny certification. We also ensure that our suppliers do not test on animals.

I’m vegan. Can I use your products?

Yes and no. Our body butter, bath bombs, and bath salts are vegan-friendly. Some of our other products, however, use beeswax, including the lip balm, lotion sticks, and our diaper rash stick.

Do you ship outside Canada?

Yes! Send us a note with your (brief!) gift message as you check out and we’ll make that bundle extra special. 

My body butter has melted a little. What do I do?

Just pop your jar into the fridge for about 30 minutes and it will be like new.

My body butter arrived frozen. What do I do?

Just let your jar sit for about 30 minutes and it will soften to the perfect consistency.
