Loaded with fatty acids, coconut oil is a rock star when it comes to keeping skin soft and moisturized. Naturally occurring capric, caprylic, and lauric acids in coconut oil also give it antibacterial and disinfecting properties. We use organic coconut oil in our body butters, lotion sticks, bath salts, lip balms, and diaper rash cream sticks. And in our lavender, coco rose and mint bath bombs.

Himalayan Pink Salt

Chock-full of minerals. And oh so pretty!

Olive Oil (Organic)

It’s not called ‘liquid gold’ for nothing

Aside from its amazing skin conditioning qualities, olive oil has three important antioxidants (polyphenols, vitamin E and phytosterols) that help protect the skin. Olive oil also contains a compound called hydroxytyrosol that helps prevent free-radical skin damage. We love organic olive oil so much, we use it in our body butters, lotion sticks, lip balms, and diaper rash cream sticks.

Lavender Essential Oil

Good for almost anything that ails you

Aside from smelling simply amazing, lavender essential oil has a calming effect and a plethora of uses. But when it comes to natural skin care, its antiseptic and antifungal properties make it a winner. Historically, it has been used to minimize acne and wrinkles, alleviate eczema and psoriasis, and heal minor skin wounds and inflammation. See for yourself in our lavender body butter, lavender lotion sticks, lavender bath salts and lavender bath bombs.

Baking Soda: Baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate, has dozens of amazing applications. It can help with irritation from poison ivy, it can treat acid indigestion and even extinguish fires! We don’t use it for any of those reasons, but it’s a very versatile compound! We use it in our bath bombs for the delightfully fizzy reaction it creates with citric acid when dropped in water, and in our bath salts for its soothing properties.

Beeswax: When used in skin care products like our lip balmslotion sticks and diaper rash cream sticks, beeswax helps create a protective barrier to keep moisture in while still allowing the skin to breathe. The vitamin A found in beeswax helps to soften and rehydrate dry skin. Its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral qualities make it great for calming skin problems associated with rosacea or eczema.

Bergamot (FCF) Essential Oil: The oil from the rind of this lesser known citrus fruit is sweet-smelling, antifungal and antibacterial - qualities that keep skin, especially oily skin, looking its best. This oil is used in our delicious-smelling citrus bath salts and citrus bath bombs.

Citric Acid: An organic compound that occurs naturally in citrus fruits, citric acid has a ton of uses in food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. When combined with baking soda and then exposed to water, CO2 is released, giving a bath bomb its fizz!

Corn Starch (Non-GMO): As the name suggests, this is a starch derived from corn. We use only Non-GMO corn starch in our products. In our bath bombs, the corn starch helps control the reaction between the citric acid and baking soda. It also provides our body butter with a lovely, non-greasy texture.

Dead Sea Salt: Loaded with minerals like potassium, sulphur, calcium, sodium and magnesium, Dead Sea salt reduces skin inflammation and improves hydration. Dead Sea salt baths have also been proven to have a positive effect on skin conditions like psoriasis. The uniquely high magnesium content of Dead Sea salt also helps to improve blood circulation and detoxify the body by flushing out toxins from the skin’s pores. You can get all the benefits of a soak with Dead Sea salt in our lavender bath salts, mint bath salts, citrus bath salts and of course, the bath salts bundle.

Epsom Salt: Epsom salt is made up of magnesium sulfate, a mineral that is easily absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream, helping to detoxify the body. This mineral helps to reduce inflammation and improve blood flow, and is a vital building block for healthy skin. Find Epsom salt in our bath salts and bath bombs.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil: The antiseptic and antibacterial qualities of eucalyptus oil have made it a prime choice historically to heal minor wounds and abrasions. Its invigorating minty smell also stimulates blood flow that can contribute to improved mental acuity. This oil is used in our mint lip balm, mint bath salts and mint bath bombs.

Geranium Essential Oil: Geranium essential oil keeps skin looking great due its natural antiseptic properties that can reduce skin inflammation. This sweet, floral smelling oil also has a calming effect that can help melt stress away. That's why we use it in our coco rose bath bombs.

Grapeseed Oil: Grapeseed oil contains antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties, and astringent qualities that help tighten skin, close up pores and improve elasticity. It also contains linoleic acid, which is great for promoting skin health. Overall, grapeseed oil is an excellent moisturizer that won’t clog pores, which is why we use it in our body butters, lotion sticks, and lip balms.

Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is non-greasy and has anti-inflammatory properties to help calm acne-prone skin. Similar to the natural oil produced by the human body, jojoba oil helps to regulate the production of sebum (or natural oil produced by the skin). Jojoba is easily absorbed by the skin and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits, making it perfect for our body butters and lotion sticks.

Lavender Water: With its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, not to mention its floral, relaxing aroma, lavender water was a must-have in our lavender bath bombs.

Orange Blossom Water: Used in all kinds of Mediterranean and North African cuisine, orange blossom water also has loads of topical benefits, including as a great skin toner. Find it in our citrus bath bombs.

Peppermint Essential Oil: Cooling peppermint oil has menthol and an array of vitamins and nutrients that can soothe skin, but given its potency, it’s best to avoid using peppermint oil on children under 12. Peppermint oil also has antifungal properties and has been used for years to treat a variety of skin ailments. Find it in our mint lip balm, mint bath salts and mint bath bombs.

Rosemary Leaf Extract: Known for its antimicrobial properties, this antioxidant helps to preserve natural products and has its own skin conditioning qualities. We add a touch to our body butters and lotion sticks.

Rosewater: Made by steeping rose petals, this divine-smelling essential water is found in many Middle Eastern dishes (including Katayef, one of Josh’s favourite desserts), and has a number of cosmetic and medical applications as well. Get a whiff in our coco rose and mint bath bombs.

Sea Salt: Like Dead Sea salt, sea salt is also full of minerals that improve skin hydration, reduce skin inflammation, and alleviate muscle soreness by reducing the toxins that can build up in the body.
